Hi,

Idid I just notice the controller wokring multiple areas are not eared anymore speaking on other frequencies ?
This is cool feature and looks an update compared to past behaviour is'nt it ?

Within few records of yesterday afternoon (dated 9/01 from 14h, 15h, 16h) which I listened afterwards, I realized that I eared not so much about the controller on the frequency at John Wayne.
I realized it when listening to the record later the evening.

I may have some record available on my USB key since I also recorded the voice coms within the aircraft if you would need.

I'm trying to work out what it is that you're trying to communicate. Nothing has changed in the radio system since we started operations in 2011. You will hear a controller whenever they push their PTT, if you are on one of their frequencies and within range. You will hear other pilots when they are on the same frequency and in range.

The receiver and the recorders capture all interactions with the controller.

The controller dealing with multiple areas, I did not hear them talking to other aircrafts on other frequencies, whereas I remember earing the controller talking to other aircrafts when they were covering different places at once.

There may have been a controller/staffing change during the hour at some point. Let's say you flew from 1500-1530 and there was Tower AND approach control online. This way, you would only hear tower while flying. But, at 1530 right when you hypothetically signed off, the tower controller may have taken a break therefore the 1530-1600 portion of the recording on the website would be approach control covering everything. This can be hard to determine in the recordings since the dead time is condensed therefore you have no sense of time or which portion of the hour that the transmissions happened.

Is there a problem with Pilotedge Receiver as I have tried listening to it a couple of times an can find no comms despite it being during operating hours and plenty of activity on the map. It does not seem to matter which frequencies are selected just plan nothing.

Any thoughts?

Just tested it and it seems to be working fine for me.
