ATC Volume too high

Hello!

I'm brand new to PE. I love it. I'm on the monthly subscription while I'm doing my real-world training and it has been INVALUABLE help. I do a lot of multi-crew with a friend from AZ to learn how to navigate in such congested airspace. We connect through TeamSpeak 3, I host a session on FSX-Steam, then we connect on PIlot Edge, with the pilot flying's callsign (usually me) being the primary, while my buddy from AZ inputs the same callsign, only with the "@" sign at the end for multi-crew. Communicating via TeamSpeak is great while on the ground. However, as soon as we take off, ATC volume increases and TeamSpeak volume decreases substantially -- to the point where he and I cannot understand what the other is saying if there's a transmission from ATC going on (which, in LAX area, is CONSTANT). How do we turn down the ATC volume? It is so loud, it hurts my ears. By turning down the system volume, it lowers everything (engine sounds/environment sounds, TeamSpeak AND PE). Any suggestions on how to get this resolved? Again, I'm a newb, so be gentle. Thanks for the help!

Well this is a first. You can decrease the PE volume by using your Windows mixer and adjusting the volume of the PilotEdge application. I have no idea why your TS volume would decrease...but if that's an ongoing problem, I would swap to Skype. That's what I use for shared cockpit comms.

Thank you! I will let you know how it goes.

Go to your control panel->Sound->Communications tab.... put a mark in the "Do Nothing" value

I had the opposite of this problem...PE would drop. Maybe this will help.
