I use to have FSE running on another machine. Now Im having problems. XP10.32 win7. I downloaded the most recent python software, as well as the most recent python interface. I also downloaded the latest client from MB link in a recent post.

In my Plugin folder I have a pythonscripts folder with the client (PI_xfse.py) and a pythoninterace folder with the 32,64, lin,mac,win,pythoninterface.ini)

Help, before I punch another hole in my wall. :0) j/k sorta

Oh yeah, so when i load up, no plugin exists in the dropdown. Xp 64bit as well.

In addition, it appears the plugin works in the 32 bit version of xp.

Is that as to be expected? I missed it if fse was not functional on 64bit.

there are 3 components... python, the xplane python plugin and then the fse script.

you can't mix the 32bit python library with a 64bit xplane instance.

make sure you have the right python version and plugin version, then worry about fse.

The default Python download for windows is 32 bit. You need to go to the Windows section and find the 64 bit installer instead of just taking the default download.

I had this same problem until I realized I needed the 64-bit version of Python. Walk back through the install steps and make sure each download link you picked is the 64 bit version.

Thx, i know it is a simple error, but your input helped. You know i cleaned up from fse, and went through the steps. But it appears im suffering from withdrawl, and am going to relapse.
