I'm back to trying my hand at FSE after a year's absence. One of the problems that I have with FSE is finding assignments to fly. I often spend so much time looking for right combination of available assignments, rented airplane, distance, fuel at both ends and so on, that any window to actually fly has evaporated.

In an effort to try and improve my odds of finding an airport pair for a round trip I put together a list of the top 20 airport pairs in the PE coverage area by total value of the assignments. The thought process is to make a shorter list of places to start looking. For those of us flying larger aircraft, it should improve the odds of filling up the plane.

The data is based upon a snap shot of the available PE coverage area assignments on 02-09-15. So this list certainly isn't absolute and subject to change. Just in case anybody is interested there are 600+ unique to/from combinations in the PE coverage area.

^^^^ is what I used as a data source. I personally found the list so long that I felt like I was drowning in a "sea of data".

The data was used to create a spread sheet of all of the to/from unique pairs. Then sorted to group the paired assignments together. Finally sorted by total $ pulling off the top 20 pairs.

Thanks for the data stream. Not sure how it would have been possible without it. In hindsight it was probably my bad for not giving credit for the data source. Thanks.
