I recently bought the Embraer E50 Phenom 100 for P3D. When I try to add this plane to my logon list for PE, I can't find anything even close. What aircraft type should I select?

This is the entry in the equipment.txt file that we ship with:

E50P,EMBRAER,EMB-500 Phenom 100,P,J

So, if you search for "Phenom", it should show up, but make sure you're selecting the option to search entire database, not the 'common aircraft'.

Thanks, Keith... I'll try that. I was looking for Embraer and not finding it.

I downloaded and installed the most recent PE client, and it was a little strange. The installation would proceed to the 97 or 98% mark, and then "stop working." I must have done this 3 or 4 times, with the same result. However, when I checked the installation folder, everything appeared to be there. So, I ran it, got a radio check at KSNA, and it worked. I don't know if down the line I might have issues. Has anyone else encountered this?

I spent 6 months trying (unsuccessfully) to get FSX running properly, and finally gave up and switched to P3D. I've been testing it over the past month, and it seems to be very stable. I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle again.

Hi Henry, yes, that installation quirk is a known issue. The installation works fine, but it's crashing in one of the final steps. I haven't been able to replicate it, so I'm not sure which step is causing it to fall over.
