PE Airports with VFR departure procedures?

I was flying around Merrill Field in FSE last night (PAMR) and noticed in the supplement to the A/FD listing, several published VFR departure and arrival procedures. These were named procedures, given to a VFR pilot when contacting tower - and seemed to be mostly concerned with routing traffic away from Elmendorf Air-Force Base to the North, and PANC to the South-West.

I wondered if there were any airports in the PE coverage area with similar VFR procedures, and if so, are they supported by the PE controllers?

Here is the link to the PDF of the supplement (Large PDF):
http://aeronav.faa.gov/afd/05mar2015/AK ... ar2015.pdf

The listings for the PAMR area begin on printed page 346, and PDF page 74.

Anything like this in SoCal?

Thanks!

John Wayne (KSNA) has VFR arrival and departure procedures.

http://www.ocair.com/generalaviation/pilotguide.aspx

These are supported by ATC and arrivals will be assigned by name, departures assigned by heading and altitude instructions. If you request a departure by name, the controller will know exactly what you're looking for.

Are you just looking for examples of VFR procedures in the PE coverage area?

If so, how about:

KSFO Tip Toe Visual 28LR

KLAX Harbor Visual 25LR

Each of the above can be requested by name on PE.

Don't forget about the "Four Stacks Visual" into KBUR.

Those are IFR procedures though... Just like a visual approach is on an IFR clearance

To clarify a couple of conflicting points brought up here.

The original poster is asking about VFR departure procedures from PE airport.

KSNA is the primary case of them at PE, however there are a couple other named ones I'll bring up:

Burbank has the following VFR departures:

Golden State Departure: After departure intercept and parallel the Golden State Freeway North westbound until advised. Keep the freeway off your right at all times.

Mendenhall Departure: After departure proceed northbound direct Mendenhall peak

Rose Bowl Departure: After departure, proceed on course southeast bound. Maintain VFR at or below 2,500 until advised.

and Camarillo has the Zeus Departure: Heading 275, maintain 3000'

There are a couple others but that should give you a good start.

The other procedures posted are IFR visual approach procedures which I don't think answers your question.

Thanks Peter, that's exactly the info I was looking for.

If I'm wanting to use one of these, I just request it when talking to clearance, or is there another way?

Thanks!

Yup just request it with clearance.
