I just started flying X Plane after using FSX. The planes that come with X Plane don't seem to have a auto pilot.
Any downloads that you know that do?

You'll have to be a lot more specific than that I'm afraid. The majority of default aircraft have some sort of autopilot (albeit, many autopilots are inaccurate and incomplete). Most free and payware aircraft from x-plane.org (or other sites) have an AP, (depending, of course, on the generation of the aircraft). Without the aircraft you're using and how you're attempting to engage the AP, I can't help diagnose your problem.

To find planes you want, go to the x-plane.org downloads section and search based on specified parameters (on the left-hand column). Searching via name is also an option.

The Baron that comes in X-Plane 10 has a working autopilot. It works well.

I'm pretty sure the default Cessna 172 has a working AP too. In fact, most planes for X-Plane have an autopilot; it's unusual to find one that does not. It helps to use the same autopilot hotkeys for every plane you fly. E.g., I've set up "CTL Space" as my engage/disengage toggle; I use "L" and "Shift L" to increase/decrease the altitude setting; I use "H" and "N" to increase/decrease the heading setting.

My Carenado Archer II does not have an autopilot, but you can "cheat" and use an autopilot anyway simply by pressing X-Plane's hotkeys. I don't do that because you can't see any visual indicators of what the AP is doing, and because I like hand-flying the Archer.
