Hello Linux Users,

X-Aviation has released a beta version of Gizmo 64 bit with linux support and are looking for testers.

http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/7653-gi ... oper-beta/

So if there are any linux users out there interested in Gizmo support on linux, please help them out. Since IXEG 737 classic is also based on Gizmo, linux support for Gizmo would be well worth it.

Thanks
Sanjiv

Question...what is Gizmo?

Its an X-Plane plugin that provides a programming interface to aircraft developers. Several payware aircrafts such as the LES DC-3, SAAB340A, CRJ-200, etc. are based on this plugin. But, being supported only on the Windows and Mac platforms, all these aircrafts do not run on linux.

It is learnt that the much awaited IXEG 737 Classic is also based on this plugin which means that this hugely anticipated aircraft would not have linux support. X-Aviation had recently released a developer version of Gizmo plugin for linux. The link I posted above refers to that. But sadly the download link for the plugin mentioned in the thread is not valid any longer :(
