Hello Everyone,

As part of long term construction projects at KLAX runway 24R will be closed starting tomorrow (6/29) through October 19th. Like with other high profile long term runway closures PilotEdge will simulate this closure. Pilots should expect to land on runway 24L if arriving on the north runway complex.

As always if you have a specific need for runway 24R (such as a specific training requirement or testing operations) please let ATC know and we will accommodate that.

And here is the NOTAM:

Why the time is listed in EST (which is the opposite of the PDT timezone of LAX) is left as an exercise to the reader.

It does, but at first read it can be confusing, hence my note about it.

I'll stick to my mantra of not understanding NOTAMS.... too many abbreviations

Can this be posted/sticky in the Pilot's section like the rest of NOTAMS?
