Keys revert to "file flight plan" every time

Have keep having the problem of my enter and yoke mic key, which are properly assigned as best I can tell, revert to the hotkey to "file a flight plan".
Keith was nice enough to help me out and we thought it was fixed but it keeps happening. Any suggestions???

If you are using FSX or P3D I can help straighten things out, but if you are using XPlane I would have to plead ignorance.
What sim, operating system, hardware and addons are you using?

If it's X-Plane, there's an option specifically designed to discard configuration changes (presumably for commercial sim operation, I guess):
Settings -> Operations and Warnings -> Startup pane -> Discard changes to configuration (uncheck this box)

I've moved this to the xplane forum to avoid any confusion. Any time you have sim-specific question, it's best to post it in a sim-specific forum.
You should go into the "settings->joystick & equipment page -> buttons basic" screen and check to see if the joystick button is mapped to the "CONTACT ATC" function. It's unlikely that the mapping is the issue. More likely, it's failing to open your audio device (either for playback or recording) and is not initializing properly. Hence, when you hit the PTT, you're seeing the stock X-Plane behavior, which is to bring up the flight plan filing screen for native xplane ATC.
I doubt it's a key mapping issue.
