awesome service

I am a 500 hour pilot based in the United States with an instrument rating. I'm very much enjoying using PilotEdge to brush up on my IFR proficiency. Since having 2 babies with a 3rd on the way in the last 3 years, I have been wondering how to keep on top of my flying skills. I like how the controllers tactfully make it clear when I am not using the correct phraseology or make some other error and clearly take their work seriously. I also enjoy the repeaters that allow me to listen to other pilots communicating with controllers as I learn a lot just listening in. This is a lot of fun and I look forward to continuing my subscription when the trial runs out.

I was wondering what are the plans for 2016 to expand and enhance the service if any?

Cheers and happy holidays to the PilotEdge team!
Adam

Adam,

Glad you are enjoying it with the rest of us.

EXPANDING (for airliners mainly)
7 pages worth of discussion on it haha

Why not expand for general aviation too?
Keith (founder/CEO) said it best:
"...if you can successfully navigate the SoCal area, there is NOTHING... ANYWHERE in the USA that you can't handle. It's hard to find a scenario that isn't presented in the PilotEdge coverage area." This also keeps the cost low for you as a pilot by not requiring more ATC. Also, keeps traffic in one place so you have interaction with other pilots.

If you are using PE to keep your skills sharp while not being able to fly RW, I would suggest the PE Pilot Rating program. This program is for new and seasoned pilots. I have yet to meet anyone that hasn't taken something from it (including real world instructors).
You can find it on the front page in the Pilot Center area of the website.

I would suggest you go through the pilot center and check out everything there is to offer there including the free love workshops. These forums are a great resource as well.

Welcome and I look forward to see you in the skies!
