I made a few shots over here:
http://www.avsim.com/topic/482356-a-...the-v2-legacy/

The biggest differences is new 400 hp turbocharged engine (if you desire), oxygen/hypoxia, dimmable gauge lighting, some new paints (fear not the old v1 paints will work!), and of course GTN (650/750) combos. RXP will still work for FSX

I've been flying this on PE for a while now

It looks amazing. The original was pretty easy on the FPS for such a great aircraft. What about this one?

I haven't done any scientific measurements... but it's on par with any recent GA release like the A2A Comanche. So it's not super light on the fps (nor is the PA24 on my rig). But it's not like a PMDG glass cockpit plane either.

Yep !! Glad to see this one released, I haven't had much time on this one yet since I installed it, but on my system I had no loading any different than the V1 Legacy that I had installed in P3D V3.1 fly around the John Wayne area.
I have not loaded in the GTN750 as yet, as I tend to fly this GA Aircraft as slant alpha, but having said that I may in future fork out for the GTN650 for this panel.

Anyone know of a way to get the transponder info from the GTN units to send to the client [mode C alt} LUA File or other ???

Cya !!

No I don't....that's the one annoying thing about the GTN stuff. I think I saw it mentioned on their forums that the simconnect was the issue.

I picked this up over the weekend and it's simply amazing! Truly a perfect version 2.0 -- it's all of the good from version 1.0 plus lots more to make it even better. This is the closest to an A2A-style realistic aircraft I've found, and it's no harder on frames than a version 1.0 plane. Right now, I'm on a cross country flight from San Francisco to my home base of Springfield, MO at FL190 burning 10 GPH and getting 255KTS over the ground and a quartering tail wind (38KTS).

I'm going to have to land for oxygen twice and fuel once. Can't recommend this plane enough. I think I might restart my Alphabet Challenge with it since it's so fast. I haven't (yet) tried to max it out, but on a KSNA to KSFO flight on PE, at 27 squared it was 16GPH and 295KTS over the ground.

WOW!

Ok, Thanks Ryan, When I install the GTN equipment I'll do the same as the Duke and include the Bendix Transponder, which I have the LUA file for.

Hi Steve, she's a beaut aye!!
I'm only using the normally aspirated version, the other one's to quick for me. ;)

Cheers Fellas

I've completed a few flights with this and I thought I'd post some feedback:

1. There's a setting to make the needle jump around a lot due to engine shake/turbulence. After watching so many KS videos, I moved that slider all of the way to the right.
2. This is one of the best IFR practice airplanes someone could buy. It's plenty fast enough to do long flights and now with the turbo, you can do some of the stuff at higher altitudes too.
3. I was able to get sustained 2400FPM climb out this morning departing Boston all of the way to 16,000 feet.
4. Tracking oxygen usage is a game changer on these longer flights.

I just got mine, great fun to fly!! I don't really understand what the problem is with the transponder and the gtn units though, I fly the duke with the GTN750 and never seem to have a problem setting squawk codes etc in the transponder? Is there something I'm missing? Looking forward to making this my no 1 IFR ride :)

Codes work but the controllers never see my mode C unless I set the client software to mode c. They also can't see me ident unless I use the software.
