Planes are 50ft above me in Vegas, help

I have Glitter Gulch add on scenery and when flying on PE, everyone else is 40-50ft above me. I heard that there is a file that needs editing so if someone could kindly point me in the right direction to fix that I would appreciate it very much.

And yes, I have runway follow contours turned off and it's not the altimeter setting.

Thanks
Rob

They may be flying a different sim platform in which case, sadly, there's nothing that can be done.

Do you use the HD mesh? IIRC, the developer mentioned elevation problems using this scenery with the HD mesh and offered an adjusted version. There was a post at the x-plane.org forum about that, but I'm not able to locate it at the moment.

But if you use the HD mesh, you could just try to disable it for a quick test. Change the beginning of the entry in your scenery_packs.ini from SCENERY_PACK to SCENERY_PACK_DISABLED (and vice versa to activate the HD mesh again).

Also might help to mention the version of X-Plane being used. There are posts about a new way to exclude airport scenery starting 10.45.

I have found it very useful to create a "Beta" version of X-Plane on my system. This allows for testing of new versions or configurations without risking your production sim. If you don't have a Beta setup, this would be a great reason to create one (it's sooo easy under X-plane). Then you can easily test how various combinations affect your problem.
