I always knew there was fun stuff in the MOAs in California, but this one takes the cake: http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/the-je ... 1678453195

If you search for Sidewinder Low Level on YT, this is my favorite so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1o3QNmgZ4I

We actually have some drones which blast thorugh the Saline and Pinamint MOAs where all this takes place, but I think it's time to actually record some flights on these specific routes.

That was really cool to watch. I've thought of flying up to Bishop or Kern sometime, I'll have to keep an eye out for these guys if I do. The video also makes me wonder what the rules are for military aircraft in an MOA in regard to cloud clearances, VFR/IFR, etc. I would assume they're free to do as they wish, given the video.

Good question. I call tell you that there won't be any civilian IFR traffic in an active MOA. On that basis, they may allow the military to simply do the 'clear of clouds' thing, but I'm not sure about that one.
