Callsign: N360JH

Arriving at LAX on the KIMMO3 (MP4)

LAX-CRQ flight (MP4) (SLI6.SLI V64 V363 DANAH V23 OCN, with enroute shortcut to V23)

Winds were out of the northeast, so it's fast on the arrival into LAX while still up at altitude and slow going on the departure towards SLI.

Things of interest:
- good amount of controller to controller coordination in the background (don't confuse it with pilot/ATC comms).
- SNA is north ops, this is a pretty rare condition
- nice view of the LAX 25L final during the LAX-CRQ flight once I'm along the coast. Can't see the north side (24R) traffic, the view is panned too far south
- this was an incredibly slow day, traffic-wise, because it was the day of the Super Bowl up in San Jose.

Keith, What is the significance of the changing letters representing your airplane on the scope? It changed from S to L, R, S, and D. While others are labeled Y, U, X, J etc.

Those are simply the sector controller codes. It allows other controllers to see who "owns" which aircraft.

This is so cool. How did you get this? Are you using it in an upcoming video series?

Yes it will be used in an upcoming video. And yes, as the thread title says, this was a real world flight.
