FAA Advisory: GPS Interference Testing...'AffectsSW California it seems.
Will this be implemented in PE - meaning no slant G filing during June

Got that msg on my ForeFlight, maybe the best way to model it is to have PE fail any GPS or live map integration...
It might make for some interesting PE recordings with all the lost pilots j/k

PilotEdge doesn't fail systems. That is on each individual sim.

That is not true. PE does have the ability to fail systems on the pilot's behalf. However, this feature is rarely used.

Just to be fair it was more of a tongue in cheek comment....yes PE can do failures but only for certain Aircraft and systems and certainly only when the pilot is in on it.

One thing I've been thinking about recently was modelling the GPS constellation and availability in X-Plane using current almanac data plus a simple environmental model. I know exactly what to do on the GPS side of things, but I don't yet know what I can do on the X-Plane side. Maybe I will post something on these forums if the idea ever comes alive.
