Listening to the PE receiver today while doing a bit of work (usually have it on in the background as you can learn lots from listening to others), Keith was controlling and came out with a brilliant quote that made me laugh.

"Can you make it off at Charlie?", "Apply rental braking technique and exit at Charlie if you can please"

Made me think if anyone else has heard any classic quotes either on PE or in the real world that have made you smile?

Pilot - "..... And we have Whisky" (ATIS)

ATC - "... I like whisky. Enter left downwind runway 20L..."

Fly heading 280, vectors for controller amusement

"Southern Tower, Carbondale 191F is 10 miles northeast at 2,400 with information Foxtrot."

"Carbondale 191F, I'm proud of you."

That was it. The student then realized that he was missing a crucial piece of information - their intentions!
