Hello
Normally I fly for Chilkoot air while flying and today there is a flight from kfbl-68cl-kfbl

I can't find the 68cl airport in our network. Will atc hand me off when leaving the coverage area? And when do I know when entering it on return trip?

Thanks
Anders

Well, The 68CL airport appears to be invalid on both Airnav and Sky vector. As for who to contact, look at the hi/lo chart and search for a blue box with info in it. that will tell you the proper frequency to contact.

Keep in mind that FSE uses data from FS2004. You can bet that there are many airports that have changed names, codes, or simply don't exist any more. If you are using current charts, you may not find some place FSE lists.

FSE shows the name as "El Rico, Corcoran." I used airnav.com to search for airports with Corcoran in the name and none match that one. I can only assume the airport no longer exists at this point.

To answer your question about the ARTCC border, though, the Los Angeles Center border is on the SE corner of the Lemoore MOA. You can see it marked clearly on the IFR Low Enroute chart here: https://skyvector.com/?ll=35.6459884354 ... 302&zoom=1

Look for the PELLI intersection, that's right on the border. Center frequencies can be found on the low enroute chart in the blue boxes, or by finding the nearest airport with instrument approaches and checking the approach plates.

68CL is a closed airstrip located about 21nm north of the coverage area. Skyvector link. It is at the north edge of the Lemoore E MOA.

EDIT: A full listing of FSE airports which are within the coverage area is available at http://www.myflightroute.com/fseairports.php
