I know this is way off topic for PE, but I'm feeling like we need to ask for prayers for all of us on the east Florida coast tonight. It may be many weeks before I get back to PE so to all the FL friends, take care, god speed and prayers for a safe night.
Thanks,
Bruce

my brother moved his family trip from FL to NJ up by 5 days to avoid the weather down there. It's looking worse than he thought it was going to be. I hope you'll stay safe.

Thanks Kyle & Keith. To give this more of an aviation slant... here's a radar pic from ForeFlight just before 5pm east coast. The ruler shows the eye and the strongest winds. ~30nm across heading to Freeport. If it can track a little more north than west and stay 30nm+ off the coast it will make a HUGE difference. NHC isn't saying it will but we can hope and pray.

My prayers are certainly with everyone in S.Florida. I used to live in W.Palm. I went through some tropical storms while there, and they scared me enough. I can't imagine the stress of having this thing coming down. Gob bless all of you over there.

WPB & Palm Beach Gardens did great, we haven't been able to get home to the beach outside Melbourne yet, later this morning, but reports are the house is fine. My son-in-law just rode it out all night in Beaufort SC and it may have been the worst there, but he made it. Huge trees down but luckily fell away from the house. Thanks for the thoughts to all on the coast.
