In X-Plane, Carenado'x G1000 is just eye candy. It does not do procedures of any kind. The models that use it also tend to be frame hungry - even more so than a typical Carenado model. I have the DA-42 G1000 and I like it, but you have to accept it for what it is, and realize that all the navigation system will do is follow waypoints.

Might be better off putting the GTN-650/750 from Reality XP into your favorite turboprop and go from there.

Hi!
It's the first time I hear something like that!
I purchased the Carenado Cirrus S22R-T and would like to know, how I can exchange the G1000 by some device from reality XP.
I just read the user manual
http://reality-xp.com/support/trainingc ... XPlane.pdf
completely and there's no description, how one can bring that device into the virtual cockpit.
Any hyperlink or hint, how and where I could start would be great!
Many thanks and cheers,
joomie

You can't really do that... I mean the GTN750 doesn't belong in the Cirrus at all. You can use it as a 2D popup. There aren't any virtual cockpit integrations as far as I'm aware.
If you could do it you'd have to change the model itself to insert the gauge bezel etc. I see AFM's upcoming Mooney will have the GTN750/650 as a user option (based on some WIP screenshots at The Org), but otherwise, just like in FSX/P3D, the developer has to model the unit to go into the VC.
