Did my first RW flight to a controlled airport today, Class Delta KILG (Wilmington, DE) for three laps of closed traffic. I rocked the radios. Thanks Keith and the team for having me ready well before the real thing.

Amazing to hear when someone gets to see fhe benefit of this network in RW! Wait until you get with your instructor and you show him that you can call up approach and give them most relevant info only (not the uhhh.... we have 3 souls on board, 3hrs of fuel, My dogs name is Ralph, etc...) and transition a bravo!!!

These stories never get old! Thanks for posting and good for you! Your instructor is going to think you're an alien when you get around to your instrument training.

I think he already does. Of course I don't want to get too proud about this, but it was great feeling that confident going in and out of that field.
