GTN750 DIES OUT OCCASIONALLY – Error Code 3. Any savvy techs out there who can help?

This issue has nothing to do with PE. I am sure lots of tech savvy guys use PE so please help if you know. This happens even if I am flying offline. Bit annoying however if on PE.

System: Windows 7 Premium, 64 Bit OS, Intel Core i-7 5820 3.3GHz, 16 G Ram, GE Force 970, Samsung 500 G, Seagate 1TB (not being used), FSX Gold, EZCA, Switched on MegaScenery South Calif, High Res LA & SD.

Re-installed the drivers a few times, then I had Nvdia, thru the CHAT connection re-install the drivers from scratch two days ago. Problem persists. So is it NVDIA, RAM, DISC SPACE, EZCA?????
I use one screen for the Sim, another screen with the GTN750 displayed Unit1 and Unit2. Currently I am using the Carenado B58. But it has done this with other Models. When GTN750 goes out, the controlling screen temporarily goes black but comes back instantaneously. The SIM keeps working, likewise the scenery and Ezca. GTN on the second screen dies. The panels still show the data but they are non-responsive to the clicks. The only way out is to restart FSX and all gets well again.

Would appreciate help. I haven’t as yet talked to Flight1.

It's more likely that people will be able to help if you specify which simulator software you're using.

Restating Problem:
GTN 750 displays on a separate screen (1920x1080) and dies out. FSX keeps functioning. Need to restart FSX to get GTN. Often I prefer to restart Computer to maximize memory. No other programs running, No IE Explorer. Often runs FSX with Clear Skies. No duplicate flight plans on GTN and FSX Flight Planner. Happens even when there is no Flight Plan on GTN. However, at times, I do switch on the in-built GNS 430 to look at Nav Details. PE Live Map is on a 3rd Screen on a different Computer. Problem occurs with all Payware Aircraft.

The System is Windows 7 Home Premium with SP1. The controls are Saitek X52 Pro.
The Simulator is FSX Gold Edition with Expansion Pack.
Sim started under Administrator.

If it helps, these are the settings:
Realism: General, Torque, P Factor, Gyro, Crash = High Realistic.
General: ATC Window, Use of Pilot Voice = Ticked.
Weather: Medium Low.

DISPLAY GRAPHICS - Main Screen with the Simulator Panels (not the GTN 750).
Nvidia GeForce 970, Settings Display: 1920x1080x32, Frame Rate = 30, Target Frame Rate = 30, Filtering = Anisotropic Ticked, Anti-aliasing Ticked, Global Texture Res = Very High, Info Text Continuous ON.
Preview DirectX 10, Lens Flare, Light Bloom, Advanced Animation = None Ticked.

AIRCRAFT: Shadows = None Ticked, Shadow Cockpit Tools = On, 2D Panel Transparency = 0.

SCENERY: Level of Detail Radius=Large. Mesh Complexity=71. Mesh Resolution=76m. Texture Resolution=1m. Water Effects=High 1x. Scenery Complexity=Normal. Auto Gen Density=Sparse. Ground Scenery Shadows=Not Ticked. Special Effect Details=High.

WEATHER: All turned right down. Except Rate at which changes over time = Low

TRAFFIC: Airline Traffic & GA = Zero. A/P Vehicle=Minimum. Land Sea Traffic=All Off. Aircraft Labels=All ON. Cycle Rate=1.
Scenery Library: MegaScenery Central, South Calif and High Res LA SD ticked. SF=Not ticked. All other non-mandatory Locations UnTicked.

Happens to me all the time with both the GNS and GTN series. I dont think there is a fix from what I understand. It is all in relation to them using the trainer software from Garmin themselves to simulate it. Sometimes the sim looses connection to it and the only way to get it back is restarting. It is a right annoyance but it is just something you have to put up with sadly.

Thanks Leighton. I suspected that. But I never strictly excluded the GNS even without FPL for testing. Based on your take I expect to have a couple of other views. I put a ticket with FLIGHT1 but no answer as yet. Will post a solution if I get one from Flight1.
