Dealing with Drones as a blind pilot

Hi All,

I'm very interested in trying out PE, but wondered if everyone had any ideas for how I should deal with drones, which seem to be an important part of making the experience realistic. I'm a totally blind pilot, flying with benefit of a program called Its Your Plane Obviously I can't see outside of the virtual cockpit to handle traffic avoidance.

Is it fair to expect ATC to give me vectors? I'd assume I'm speaking of IFR for the most part, since VFR is by definition rather, erm, visual. I realize this is only one aspect of the issues I'll have to deal with, but it's uppermost in my mind at the moment.

I'm looking forward to flying in a realistic environment. ;)

Advise the controller that you'll be simulating IMC and make sure collisions are off in your sim, that would be the best way to handle it.

Thanks, Keith. That helps. I guess I should just try it and see how things go. I wish it were as easy to deal with the lack of accessible charts, but that's a separate issue entirely. :(
