Last night I was flying into KSAN in the PMDG 737, I was too high and fast on final so I called go around was told to make right closed traffic. I need more practice on the go arounds + I was also using FS2Crew at the same time and still learning that, in addition my sim crashed on the xwind leg....great!

My question is what altitude am I expected to fly the traffic pattern in a jet? For GA I believe is 1000AGL, is it 1500AGL in a jet?
