what does "Report on 2 mile final" mean? Thanks

If you know your legs of a traffic pattern, you’ll know the final is the last leg in the pattern. This instruction means you should tell the controller that you are on a 2 mile final...in basic terms- you are 2 miles from the runway.

Thank you - Do I have to be turned into Final and lined up with the runaway 2 miles from the airport or just 2 miles from the airport? Thanks

If the controller tells you to report a 2 mile final, then they want you lined up on final 2 miles out.
