Correct ICAO aircraft codes

I've noticed from time to time an incorrect ICAO code listed in the current pilots box on the home page so I thought it might be useful to post a couple of links to aircraft ICAO code lists. If you're unsure of the correct ICAO, just look up your aircraft manufacturer and model number and you'll find the correct code. For example, the Bonanza F33A ICAO code is not F33A. It is BE33.
Here's a couple of different links:

You're absolutely right, Steve, this has been happening quite a bit. It's important to get the codes right so that other participants will have a fighting chance of seeing you as the right type of aircraft.
X-Plane is the only pilot client which allows the ICAO code to be hand typed (if memory serves), so the incorrect ones are likely to be X-Plane users.
The X-Plane configuration instructions also include the link to the ICAO DB, too:

I think it would be nice to have that link on PE website, not just in X-Plane configuration instructions.

In other words, I, too, think it would be good to have the ICAO code list link under the pilot center. That would make it more accessible, unless you bookmark one of the links I suggested or the link Keith has provided.

Good thought, I'll build a resources links page and put it on the PE site for this, airnav, skyvector, and all the other tools we all use on a regular basis.

There's an easier to search version of the ICAO page as well:
http://www.icao.int/anb/ais/8643/
It allows for the * as a wildcard as well, for example typing bonanza will display only a few models, but *bonanza* will include more.

Hi y'all. The ICAO website has been updated sometime recently (?), and the new address for aircraft code searching is as follows:
