I'm interested in seeing what setup other pilots on PE use for their daily flyer. Since a video is worth 1000 words, I've linked two videos to my setup. I'd be interested in seeing yours!

I'm a pretty stock Precision Flight Controls Cirrus II BATD with the PFC430 Garmin unit. 25.5" moniter which for some applications I use a TrackIR. Have considered a smaller moniter for the aircraft instruments and then use the TripleHead2Go I've got for a spanned outside view across three moniters (takes more room and my wife would probably freak!).

Hi,
This is my cockpit, I also would love to have triple head or projector but as this is in our living room my wife will not accept one more inch.
I still managed to get a nice cockpit see for your self at this link:

Ian, did you put that together or was it by some company, I see VMAX/GoFlight/PFC not sure if it's a package. I gotta tell you, that's the best use of the Eee PC I've seen so far!!

Hi,
Thanks, I put it together and configured it all myself, the most difficult was to get all to work together !!
I use 3 computers one with x-plane and Reality XP gps (on the small screen on the right). The second one with FTS for the instruments. and the EeePC to help me with navigation and charts also linked up to x-plane via wifi as if x-plane was a gps given position information.
Some peaces are from really airplanes (not flying anymore

): the glaresheild, the compass (not really working) and the watch.
Other peaces as you have noticed are from elite and PFC: Throttle, Yoke, Radio stack. (all are super high quality equipement)
and some Goflight modules.
All together it does make flying really good, I also like just looking at it from my sofa...
My only problem today is I do not know how I could get it better. So I turn on the computer flip a button, all software starts, I just need to get into my seat and plan my flight.
I have all autocad design drawings for the panel and the support furniture and I can help in anyway if someone wants to take some ideas from me.
