My i7 is oc to 4.7ghz and I over clocked my GPU a bit too. Over new York, with nearly maxed out settings I get25-30 fps at night with rain, clouds, ect. Depending where I am I can get 25+fps or 35+ fps.

depending where i am it can drop down to 39 now i turned up the settings, I get between 40-50 fps

I can run x-pane at pretty high settings. I could increase the rendering options but at the minute, I get 50-55 fps, even at john Wayne, and flying around Santa Ana. This is why I don't want to increase my rendering options yet. I did set the weather to insane clouds, rain, visibility 30, and when ...

I never go below 47 fps and average is 50-55 fps about my resolution is 1440x900 at the min. I'll post a screen shot of my settings at the min in a bit

The performance in x-plane is amazing!!! You should defiantly get a pc with an i7 ...

Haha, nice. My pc has arrived but I can't go on it until Thursday as I'm at my mums. I will tell you the performance as soon as I go on x-plane and set everything up though I think gtx 970 can max far cry 4 at around 75fps, compared to ps4 at 30 xD

Hi, I wondered if anyone has played x-plane 10 on an i7 4790k and an MSI gtx 970? Or a different type of gtx 970 with 4g vram? Reason being I've ordered a pc with an i7 4790k, MSI gtx 970, 16g ram 1600 mhz. if anyone has played x-plane with this set up could you please tell me your fps? Cheers Joe ...
