I7 4790K MSI gtx 970 performance

Hi, I wondered if anyone has played x-plane 10 on an i7 4790k and an MSI gtx 970? Or a different type of gtx 970 with 4g vram? Reason being I've ordered a pc with an i7 4790k, MSI gtx 970, 16g ram 1600 mhz. if anyone has played x-plane with this set up could you please tell me your fps? Cheers Joe :lol:

fps varies based on regions, settings, weather, aircraft, viewpoint and hardware. That is a great system, enjoy it.

I'm actually getting ready to build a system with the same specs (4790K, EVGA GTX 970, 16GB Ram). Whatever the performance, it will undoubtedly be better than my 3 yr old iMac with a 512mb video card. :)

Haha, nice. My pc has arrived but I can't go on it until Thursday as I'm at my mums. I will tell you the performance as soon as I go on x-plane and set everything up though :) I think gtx 970 can max far cry 4 at around 75fps, compared to ps4 at 30 xD

I just got a evga GTX 970 ssc and I can run extreme res in XP10, and with payware like LES Saab or Carenado BE9L I'm still getting 20-25 on ground and 30 in the air with high settings. It's nice.

The performance in x-plane is amazing!!! You should defiantly get a pc with an i7 4790k and a gtx 970. Not to mention the pc is super fast :)

Good to hear. All of the parts are arriving tomorrow, so if all goes well, I should be up and running tomorrow evening. It's like waiting for Christmas. :D
