Is there any way to determine what APP frequency is in use at a given airport before being handed off by Center?

Re: ATC frequency clarification
Thanks for the response, Alex.
So if I understand correctly, don't pay too close attention to the Center frequencies on the maps as they may be substituted depending on various factors. Let's say I lose connection with Center on the assigned frequency at some point. If I tune to the closest Center ...

I have 2 questions with regard to ATC frequencies:
1) I am able to find Center Frequencies on the Low Enroute maps. When planning my flight, I look for the closest Center location to my Dep. Airport, however that frequency isn't always the one APP hands me off to. Question is - If I were to ...

Thanks for the help,
Bill

Re: considering a 'frequent flier' program

Re: considering a 'frequent flier' program
I'll pose an alternate thought..
For myself, I am intrigued by the benefits Pilot Edge offers. Unfortunately due to work and family schedule, I don't have the time I would like to spend online flying. I'm guessing I'll be lucky to find 1, possibly 2 nights a week where I have time to dedicate ...

Squawk box (will it be replaced?)
Once the service goes live, will Squawk box be replaced with a PilotEdge application, or will we continue to use Squawkbox?
Thanks,
