Free scenery, get it while it's hot

For anyone wanting free scenery for the NorCal & SoCal areas, there is still an archive located at http://www.xplanes-scenery.com

I suggest grabbing it now while you can because the site will be coming down by July 4th. This collection of scenery files will not be available anywhere else (since x-plane.org has refused to accept the files and subsequently banned me from the forums over the issue.)

Is it because of a hosting issue that you are taking down the site? Do you need somewhere else to keep the files? I'd be happy to put them on our VA server if that's an option. Let me know if we can help you out. I just think it would be nice to keep the files available for any future PE pilots.

Same offer from here. I can host them on my Flight Simulator session of my website. Although I use FSX (I also have X-Plane) it would be nice to maintain the files...

Actually if you have alternate hosting that would be cool. I am involved with a new project that will keep me too busy to do anything with the site or the content (I barely have time to fly) The project will prolly tie me up for another year. Do you need the source files or can you just grab 'em off the site? I really wanted them available for members, no thanks to x-planes.org. They blocked uploading of any files when they saw that they were for PE.

I hope this is still in the works. The airports are hard to navigate without som buildings to reference to. I think I am landing where buildings are supposed to be in my helicopter
