John,
What's the setup process like for FSX and ForeFlight? I see from your website that I would also need FSUIPC4. Do you have any documentation that would help me configure each of the pieces properly so they all play nice together?

It should work great with Jeppesen FD

It should work great.TomATL wrote:This sounds great. I assume it would work for WingX as well? I actually wrote the developers of that app to see if I could convince them to accept GPS-in data from something other than their current roster of devices, but didn't get an answer.

John,
That being the case, you might want to update the copy on the web site to state that it's compatible with any location-aware apps, rather than just a narrowly defined list.
It's great news that it works with all of 'em!

Created a bundle deal for laptops and also have a certified USB-RS232 Dongle.Tim Krajcar wrote:Cool, John! You should consider stocking an inexpensive USB-to-RS232 converter as well. I have one around since I work on Cisco gear and other stuff that still speaks serial, but it's not common these days. I'll be ordering one soon!

Ordered a cable earlier this week. Gonna set it up with FSX and Foreflight. I will post my impressions once it is live.
