The good thing is that It is not just narrowly focused on the iPad. it will work with Aeras, 396, 496, 696, 796, as well as android tablets - in particular it is supported in their Garmin app. An interesting product indeed.

Two serious limitations, no weather on the ground, and if you are not ADS-B out (eg. 330ES), then you will only see C or S transponder traffic if someone who is, flies by. Although you will "directly" see other ADS-B out traffic on both 978 and 1090, these are few and far between for the moment, in the lower skies.
