64 Bit X-Plane and PilotEdge Client Incompatibility

The beta version of 64-Bit X-plane has been released (see link below) and any 32 bit plugins (including Pilotedge) are incompatible. Can someone confirm weather a 64bit version of the PilotEdge client will be released and, if so, the anticipated timing of the release. Happy to beta test the client if need be.

Yes, it is planned. I would predict it'll be a small number of weeks before this is ready, unless I run into any unforeseen issues.

Hi Jake,

did you test 10.20 beta in 32 bit mode? Did the plugin work?

I tested yesterday the beta - 64 bit did not work and in 32 bit I had problems with my mic. I was able to hear the controller and the controller hear me - but he was not able to understand me. Maybe it was a temporary problem?!? Or is this a issue with the beta?

I had tested my mic direct in the OS and that works fine.

Just now I try it again and I still had the same problems. So it is not a temporary issue.

Did anyone had the same problems with x-plane 10.20 beta?

Can you create a new thread for this one, as it's not really related the 64-bit version? I am trying to work out if your audio issue is related to OSX 10.8.2 or whether it's simply the new beta.

There is another thread we created here for someone who had audio issues with 10.8.1, regardless of the XPlane version, we weren't able to resolve it for him as far as I know.
