AJ, gotcha. I wasn't sure because your note referenced the autopilot. The test that I suggested was to be hand flown.

Keith, I should read more carefully what you wrote, sorry. Summary below.

1. When I take off with no trim at all on ailerons at power set to about 75 80 ( torque), on take off , plane drops the nose to the right but it is not anything very abrupt, easy to handle and easy to trim for wings level climb.

2. At this point, I can adjust my power to any setting and will follow with aileron trim for wings level flight, works in all range of power settings and with landing configuration.
Actually , it is a lot of fun to trim it out because it keeps you occupied versus long haul flights with FMS and autopilot on when there is nothing to do, simply boring..lol

3. Now I have a different approach for autopilot engaging... FIRST I make sure I have the plane trimmed for wings level flight and THEN engage AP.
Then I fly on AP but I set up my aileron trim manually ( still on AP) so it is set to 4 notches to the left ( 1st mark on the trim indicator ).
When I am ready to disengage AP, I experience only slight banking which can be trimmed out without any problems.

I think the trick here is to set the aileron trim as I described before disengaging AP.

If I engage AP with high power settings followed by a lot of left trim and leave it as it is, when I disconnect AP at much lover power settings, I experience sudden bank to the left which is pretty abrupt.

I hope I described what I intended with my Polish English ..lol, sorry , can not help that part.

I am in love with that plane to the point that my wife is jealous ..lol,lol,lol

Cheers, AJ
