CRJ Issues
I bought the crj 200 from x aviation. Since day 1 I can't figure this thing out. When engaging the autopilot at cruise I get bad pitch oscillations. Along with this are loss of power in both engines. I have the aircraft in crz power in the thrust ref page when this happens. Any help with these known issues would be greatly appreciated. Great aircraft by the way.

Re: CRJ Issues
What's your indicated airspeed when you get into the oscillations? The power setting isn't the driving factor. What matters is your airspeed.
If it's within about 10-15kts of VNE, the a/p will command a pitch up to try to slow down to avoid the plane falling apart (since it can't control the throttle)
Then, once the speed backs off, it tries to descend to the selected altitude, and the cycle continues

So if I'm understanding this correctly I need to back off the throttle a bit huh? I get a more definite answer but I think IAS was in lower threes when this occurred.

Yes, I usually settle on around 88.5% N1 in cruise at FL240'ish. Much above that and you're going to run into speed issues.
