Sounds like a plan. You can always post in the 'fly with me' forum if you know when you'll be flying. Thanks for dong it, it's great stuff.

I have been playing with twitch recently and am thinking of doing some live streams soon. My goal is to have my EFB Charts streaming alongside the sim. I use the iPad Foreflight app (geo-referenced) along with the GPS Simcable, but couldn't figure out if it is even possible to stream the iPad onto twitch so I am trying the demo version of Aivlasoft EFB. I will probably do some testing before I go live on the server. I have been AWOL on PE lately and this will document my ressurection on the server...lol My channel...http://www.twitch.tv/herkchief

Jacob does include his ForeFlight app from the IPad in the stream. He's using some 3rd party software to mirror that data to the PC which is then included in the video broadcast.

Welcome back, btw.

Ill have to ask him what he is using. I have seen some mirroring apps, but I am afraid due to my single monitor setup that I would not be able to capture the program and the sim. May have to lug out the old monitor for troubleshooting.

Looks like I found what I need. The Reflector mirroring program is recognized in the streaming app (XSplit) as a game source. This is perfect! Now I don't have to mess around with screen regions. Unfortunately I can't get XSplit to recognize FSX as a game source.

I also picked up Jacob's FSXFlight program and tossed the GPS Sim cable as it was not working and the configuration was a mess. I have all my twitch video settings tweaked and hopefully my CPU doesn't hate me when I start streaming. Is there a dedicated thread in the forums for advertising thses streams?
