In doing so, learned about a route called 'Sidewinder' in the Sierra Nevadas...a few clicks later I found this:

Very interesting! I converted the coordinates to enter them into skyvector and got this:

So it turns out my little route from Stovepipe Wells the other day inadvertently mirrored the tail end of that Sidewinder route :)
