Interesting that with only 4 days remaining until the closing of the first 24 contract towers, not a single one of these airports has issued a NOTAM regarding the pending closure.

Interesting, I wonder if that was really on their ATIS.

If it was, it has been removed. Current KASH ATIS on LiveATC.net no longer carries that message.

Seems legit to me, but I'm sure it was quickly replaced.

According to USA Today, "closure of 149 air traffic control towers delayed until June"

This has officially been CANCELLED! All towers will remain open.
