Prepar3D Installer Option
Hi All,
Back in Feb. Keith had mentioned in a post that a P3D installer option would be comming soon. Any update on this? I never really was able to get it working the same as FSX and I dont use FSX at all now.
Thank you!!

Re: Prepar3D Installer Option
ronny, it's getting higher on the list as many of our commercial customers are using it.
I have been installing it by hand for them. It's easy and quick, I would be happy to do that for you, just pm me with your availability.

I'd be interested in this also, as I may be migrating over to Prepar3D sometime in the not to distant future

do you have fsx already installed, or is this a standalone p3d?

Re: Prepar3D Installer Option
Hi Keith - Currently I have FSX and P3D installed on the same drive. However, I'm planning to move P3D to it's own dedicated drive. Should I do that first and then install PilotEdge for P3D on that dedicated drive?

Re: Prepar3D Installer Option
Once you have P3D running where you'd like it, let me know and we'll take it from there. It'll be very easy because you already have PE installed. You could actually run it right now, you just wouldn't get the pop-up transponder and some of the planes won't match because the stock PE configuration assumes the presence of a bunch of FSX stock aircraft. I'll help you fix those 2 items in addition to showing you how you can make use of any of the aircraft that are installed in the sim as AI aircraft for PE to use, then you'll be off to the races.

Ok so P3D is now installed on its own drive. Ready when you are for the PE install.

Re: Prepar3D Installer Option
As I was - I think I have it figured out... copied the code you posted to the DLL file, copied aircraft vip and squawbox... oh now I remember I need to copy the other default aircraft too. Other than that I ran the installer as usual.
Do you (anyone out there) think I missed anything? Let me know please!
