Citation N813CW

Post by twharrell »

Keith,

You were my center controller on my I-5 rating flight, KBUR - KLAS, when I experienced my very first CTD ouside of DAG. That's why you saw me disappear from your scope (or whatever happens when CDT's occur). My apologies.

On a side note, this was only my second flight in FSX. The only reason I am even using FSX is to try the Flight 1 Citation Mustang. 98% of my flying is done in P3D where CDT's have never happened. Looks like FSX is getting the ol' uninstall and I will be sticking with P3D from this point forward.

Todd

No problem, Todd. For the most part, when people disappear without warning, we simply assume they lost their connection. The exception would be if they've just skidded off the end of the runway and they aren't in the mood to wait for us to deploy the PilotEdge Canoe.

Todd,

The PE Canoe is always on alert especially on those dark nights. (Not that I'd ever admit being saved by it or anything...)

The F1 Mustang is a Master of CTD. I avoid it like the plague. Thankfully their new King Air is much more optimized and really fps friendly.
