Hey Guys,
I have been having the same issue on two different X-plane systems. FSX works consistently well. My X-Plane boxes are a personal PC and the other is a Fly This Sim Trainer. I have only about 33% of the time been able to reach ATC. I can see other airplanes, hear pilots talk and the responses from the controller. If I am lucky, I maybe able to get a quick radio check in with a response from the controller, but shortly there after when I transmit I don't get a response from the controller. I can still hear the controllers responding to everybody else. This is consistently happening on two different x-plane machines. I have never run into this problem with FSX.
Any thoughts?
Al

Only thing I can think of is a dead battery (we monitor the voltage). Will work with you directly on this to do some testing.

Hmm, seemed to stop working after the radio check....
I have all the avionics and such on, positive voltage on all my indicators...anything else to check?

Al, I can't debug this via a forum. By the time I saw this, I was ready to debug, but you're already logged off. Please check your email. We need a way of communicating out of band to actually debug this properly.

I have been using x-plane 32 bit mode only because my VRInsight radio stack will not work with 64 bit. My 32 bit x-plane in 777 has known problem with throttle, which won't idle (makes landings hard at 54% throttle.
Now that I have downloaded the 64 bit x-plane driver, renamed the 32 bit driver to bat, I can hear controller, however, they are telling me I am barely readable. Also, when I selected preferences in the plugin menu for pe, the x-plane program crashes.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I may be buying a USB headset soon. I have been using a bluetooth speaker (speakerphone) mounted on my avionics stack. Worked great with the 32 bit.
