PFC Cirrus II

Post by JustinWheat »

Anyone know if this Precision Flight Controls unit works with X Plane 10.22 64 bit? Looking to purchase if it is compatible.

In a word, yes. It appears all of their yokes are X-Plane compatible.

it says xplane 10, but I would call them to ask if they have a 64bit driver.

I emailed PFC and I got a response saying "We do not officially support X-Plane 10 yet at the moment. We have a beta driver that makes the console work with X-Plane 10.22 64 bit but there are some known issues." So would it be better to wait for the beta driver to become fully supportive of the platform or go to X Plane 9 Professional? My goal here is to purchase this unit along with the Emuteq G1000 to have a semi home cockpit. Looking for any ideas as to how it is best to move forward.

If having that console is a must, then XP9 would be the way to go for now, it seems.
