I'm trying to decide which airport scenery to work on next and Meadows Field and Palomar are at the top of my list. No scenery exists for either field to my knowledge and for scenery junkies like me are a total bummer to fly into/out of.
I'm leaning a bit toward BFL as it's the only major airport in that area so it might be more "useful" to the PE community. But both are sorely needed in my opinion - busy class Ds and both used in the PE training program.
So, what say you? Which airport would the X-Plane segment of PE users rather have?

There is Palomar scenery available from this link. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app ... wfile=8467 . It's not great but it's a lot better than the nothing currently available for KBFL. So I'd much prefer if you did KBFL as it's a place I'd like to fly into more but because of the lack of scenery I rarely do.
Good luck with the project!

I voted Palomar, purely because I fly there more often. Both would be awesome, though.

Yeesh, that Palomar scenery is a bit...lacking.
Looks like CRQ is winning so far but I'll give it more time, probably till after the holiday, then I'll get going on whichever one is in the lead. I'm busy moving from NJ to CA these next two weeks anyway.

Jeff, take me with you!
I voted for CRQ because...well, BFL is in a pretty boring spot.

What, you don't LIKE the appalling weather in NJ, Keith? Or the flat, mini mall landscape? Or the bombed-out toll roads? Or the....... Okay I'll stop. I grew up in NJ - I should've never come back.
Anyway, I was leaning toward making BFL for the very reason that there's nothing else around there. Otherwise there's little visual payoff to flying so far away from other major airports. Looks like I'm in the minority though, CRQ is still getting double the votes.

Jeff,
I voted BFL, but until Keith get's finished with the Mac 64 bit plugin, I've had to disable all my scenery to keep from having out of memory issues, so I guess it irrelevant.

That's a bummer, Brent. Well maybe I'll have both done by the time the Mac 64 bit plugin is available
Ugh, waiting for my stuff to arrive from NJ is killing me. Can't wait to work on more scenery!
