new fixed added at V64 V363 intersection

Post by Keith Smith »

Some of the TEC routes take you via V64 and V363, the intersection of the two being at a point in space which didn't have a named intersection, making for all SORTS of teaching moments about the joys of VOR, or the 'activate leg' feature on the Garmin GPS.

Sadly, the charting boffins have come to their senses and have added a fix at that intersection 'WOKRO'.

Thankfully, for training purposes, 'SMO125R V64' still exists as an unmitigated disaster along that same route of flight.

A lot of people are flying with out-of-date navigation data in their sim GPS, so it might create a whole new teachable moment.
