Knowing that we had a hand in helping someone pull the trigger to start their flight training is about as good as it gets.On a nifty side note, with all the flying I've been doing on FSX and PE, the wife has started bugging me to actually look at trying for a PPL as opposer to bugging me to get off the darn computer...lol. We're planning on visiting a local flight school on my next set of days off to see what's involved and if it's something we can feasibly do. If I end up embarking on that route; I'm sure happy I found you guys as there's no doubt PE will help gain a lot of confidence...

If she starts saying things like "Oh, don't be a baby, the clouds aren't really that low", or "That thunderstorm will probably pass by the time you get airborne" -- then I'd have to say the extra insurance is perhaps not a coincidence.....lwilliams wrote:That's awesome, congrats and good luck to "new user"......almost the exact same story here (except mine had me increase my life insurance at the same time.

Next she'll say, "Honey we really need our own airplane. I just don't like renting."
