Controllers and emergencies

Post by davisd100 »

Keith, just a word of commendation for one of your controllers. I set up the KSNA CSTN1 KBUR and approaches flight to try out some equipment failure procedures, principally failing the glideslope and some of the cockpit GPS programming kit, today between 1800Z and 2000Z. The controller was calmness and patience personified, handling in hold flight plan changes, delay vectors etc with complete patience and equanimity. Had this been for real I would have been sweating bullets, but it would have been mitigated by the infectious calm of your controller. Please pass on my thanks.
