If you've ever tuned the ATIS at SNA and have been able to hear LA Center in the background, then good news...you won't hear that any more as of today. One of the references that was used to assemble our frequency database listed 126.00 as a Los Angeles Center frequency. Further research, however, shows that it's no longer relevant to our operations, so we've taken out that ATC transmitter.
Now you can enjoy the ATIS in peace and quiet, or just do what I do and get the weather from skyvector!
