Am seeing a case where FSX users who upgrade their pilot client end up with a 'could not open headset/mic' message when starting the pilot client. This is caused by a corrupt shortcut in the startup menu. I'll get a patch for this today to allow for the corrupted start menu link.

To fix this, remove "PilotEdge (for Flight Simulator X)" from the Start Menu link (right click and click delete).

You can then:
a) reinstall PilotEdgeand, or
b) start PilotEdge from the \program files (x86)\PilotEdge folder, or
c) start PilotEdge from the Start->PilotEdge program group, or
d) create your own shortcut to the PilotEdge app

Have just posted v1.0.1 of the P3D/FSX/FS2004 installer. This update deals with the corrupted shortcut issue. Users moving from 0.9 to the latest version shouldn't have any problem with the sound device being shown as unavailable.

Apologies, the first two builds of the P3D client contained the development voice server. The FSX client was fine.

V1.0.2 has been posted which simply contains an updated P3D build.

Hey Keith, question - I installed the new client and indeed the xpdr offsets are working and I can toggle stby / mode C through FSUIPC which is great. However I still can't squawk ident through the FSUIPC command. I'm firing the command but the ident light just won't trigger. Was the offset for ident included in the latest update? If not would be great if it could be added since the threat of a controller requesting a squawk ident requires me to keep the mini-window up which causes nasty screen tearing. Thanks!

The ident function is working via FSUIPC from my recollection of the testing, but the light doesn't go on when triggered by FSUIPC. Ask the controller to see if he/she is seeing the ident, don't sweat the light :)

X-Plane MacOS 10.9.3 users: If you had troubles loading the plugin today, the issue has been resolved. Grab the newer (and much leaner plugin, just 35MB this time).

For all X-Plane users: we're going to finalize the packing strategy for HD model sets next week. Expect to start seeing some additional downloads at that time.

Quick question... It seems to install fine but when I try to run it I am getting the dreaded missing .dll message. In this case it says ts3client.win32.dll is not found. Win7 64 bit OS.

Jon

Disregard. Problem solved
