Virtual Airline Project.

Post by Jari Junior »

Hi, first of all sorry for my really bad english.

Im starting a Virtual Airline to fly with some friends and I think you can all give me some ideas about. Here how is working atm: The VA started without any planes. Any pilot can bring his own plane to our 1st main hub (KIPL). The pilot must fly the plane from the factory. If you want to fly a cessna 177, you have to ferry the plane from the factory to our base. When you complete the ferry you can choose 4 airports to where you want to fly. Lets say you want L35 (Big Bear), KIGM (Kingman) and KDVT (Deer Valley). So you can fly:
KIPL - L35
KIPL - KIGM
KIPL - KDVT
L35 - KIPL
L35 - KIGM
L35 - KDVT
KIGM - L35
KIGM - KDVT
KIGM - KIPL
KDVT - KIPL
KDVT - KIGM
KDVT - L35

Got it? Well.. but there is other thing: You can fly other people`s planes if they`re available in the airport where you at, so you can fly other routes aswell. We`re using VAFs system and maybe I can upgrade to a better system. For now everything is ok. We currently have 4 planes inbound our HUB, a Cessna Cardinal 177, a Piper Cherokee 180, a Piper Dakota and a Piper Commander. We already have the site (beta) and the system working. If you want to access the VA data (like routes and so on) you must register on our site (top buttons). If you want to fly using our system you can register using the right main menu in our site.

But there are some restrictions atm:
- At this phase im only adding GA airplanes;
- Im not going to add several planes of same type (ex, 4xC172) - if we already have in our fleet, you can use it;
- Im not going to add an "rare" airplane to the fleet;
- Im not going to add other hub ATM;
- Please provide the livery of your aircraft so people can use it when its available.

Some advices:
- The ferry routes are been build based on ORBX Free Sceneries, you can download here: http://www.fullterrain.com/product_global_packs.html

Moved this from the fly-ins forum, since you weren't organizing a fly-in.
